Reservations

Reservations are a core component of the BnB Res system where customers, bed & breakfast admins, and employees can reserve rooms. Reservations and reservation numbers are specific to a particular room reserved for specific dates. Reservations are a part of orders. If more than one room was reserved in a single order, each room will have its own reservation number.

Viewing a reservation has the following components:

Customer Information

A description of the room that was reserved: room name, dates, nights, and number of adults and children.

Notes - Bed & Breakfast admins and employees can enter and view notes for the reservation.

Transaction Log - Bed & Breakfast admins and employees can view a history of what has happened with the reservation.

Reservation Summary - A detailed payment breakdown. Admins and Employees can make changes as needed.

Cancel Reservation - Bed & Breakfast admins and employees can cancel the reservation from here. Customers can also cancel their reservation if the bed & breakfast allows this option in the reservation settings.

Customer Check-In - Bed & Breakfast admins and employees can check customers in and out.
